State Issues Overview

As the ‘peak' environment organisation in Queensland our agenda covers the whole spectrum of environment issues in the State. However, due to capacity constraints we cannot cover ALL those issues in any great detail.

To ensure that as many areas are covered as possible we have a practice of identifying issues where our member organisations take the lead. In these cases, QCC plays a supportive role.

Our specific focus is on climate, water and biodiversity. These are covered in different sections of the website.The State Issues section is about those areas that we are engaged in but which sit outside our identified main themes.
